Bespoke BREEAM

For all types of building not covered by standard BREEAM schemes, such as community centres, leisure centres, libraries, shared accommodation or even complex mixed use schemes where a combination of different BREEAM assessments is not feasible, a bespoke BREEAM assessment may be used.

Bespoke BREEAM ratings are carried out in two stages:

Step 1 - The first stage involves BRE defining the appropriate assessment criteria and scoring for any particular building type. The cost of this process is dependent upon the complexity of the building involved and normally takes between 6-8 weeks. This requires General Arrangement Drawings showing room functions or accommodation schedules.

Step 2 - Ambient performs the assessment against the criteria defined by BRE. Costs for Step 2 are broadly in line with those for BREEAM for Offices assessments.

Ambient provides a bespoke service to suit each individual project. Our scope of work will range from an informal BREEAM assessment to a full formal BREEAM consultancy leading to formal Certification.
